Using Event simulation to see the stress during the rise of a scissor lift?

Hi, 

So with this model, I want make it rise as a basic scissor lift should but, I'm unsure of how to make this happen in event simulation. 

The right bar is where the "push" will be that moves the wheel forward and cause the lift to rise up. 

How would I go about doing this?

I think you will have to do this at individual static positions.

If  you have access to Autodesk Inventor Professional you could run a Dynamic Simulation and then analyze the stress at selected Time Steps.
