Use Fusion 360 from Ubuntu through second computer under Windows and RDP

Hello,

Thank you for your help on this forum.

I am using Ubuntu on my laptop. I would like to use Fusion 360 but it is not designed for Linux systems, so I am considering available options.

Would it be possible to install Fusion 360 on a second computer under Windows ("desktop", fixed at home, always connected to the Internet), and use RDP (remote desktop protocol, for instance with Remmina) to access Fusion 360 from my laptop through the Internet?

Thanks in advance

That should work and I have used a free AWS instance/windows for f360. I noticed that there is an apparently relevant setting in f360.

How did you resolve this?

I should have mentioned dyndns for connecting to home pc from outside home network.  There are other similar services.
