Uploading Inventor Assembly to Fusion keeps failing

Hi, I'm having trouble uploading any '.iam' designs to Fusion.

I've tried uploading/converting the file directly from the F360 data panel (and yes I've made sure to include all the referenced IPTs) and I've also tried uploading the file from the A360 dashboard (which worked fine) and then clicking 'Create Fusion Design' in Fusion.

Either way, the progress bar slowly fills up, taking a long time, before it says 'Failed' and if I click on it, 'An error occurred during the translation of this import. Please check the application log for details.'

I've tried and this seems to happen with any IAM files, however IPTs and STEPs all upload fine. I know the files themselves are ok because I can preview them just fine in the A360 portal (before attempting to convert).

Restarting Fusion or restarting the computer doesn't seem to help.

This is very bad because I need to get these files in soon and if there is no way to do so Fusion becomes quite redundant for this project.

I don't have Inventor installed so can't convert to STEP or another format.

I've attached the file and referenced parts I've been trying to upload repeatedly below.

If necessary I can find the application log and attach that too.

Any help would be really appreciated!

When I open the assembly there are many referenced ipt files missing.

I am in the progress of attempting Upload  - and yes, it is taking a long time....

OK, I didn't time - but I estimate that it was about 3 minutes to upload (minus the missing components).

I will have to try again without removing the missing components from the assembly tree and without saving to a more current Inventor release.

I'm not able to test the files where I am, but the few times that I've uploaded Inventor assemblies I had to make sure that the content center files were not only in the project (as stated previously), but were in the same directory as the master *.iam file.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, as it's been a few updates since I last tried it, but that's something else you might consider.

Oh sorry, I forgot to include those 4 files in the post as they're in a different directory - they're attached below. I did include them when trying to upload, so I don't think that is the problem.

Thanks for that f3d though, at least now I can get on with things for a short while. And yeah 3 minutes sounds quite short, the progress bar is slowly filling up for about 10mins for me before failing, and my internet connection is fine.

I've now tried putting the master iam together with all the referenced ipt files in a single directory and uploading it all as an assembly to A360 before trying to convert from within fusion, and I'm coming up with the same error. I'm starting to think it might be my installation (though it's only a couple of days since I reinstalled) so I may reinstall again and see if that fixes anything.

Thanks for the help though. If it's working fine for you it must be something at my end.

Thanks for calling my attention to that, I'd missed it before. Here it is.

I could not upload the iam (but I could upload all of the ipt files) until I had the final missing part file.  Then it worked.

Wow, thanks very much - having manually selected the files again and included this one this time, it worked. Obviously Fusion just can't handle assemblies with missing parts. My bad for having missed that part the first time.

Thanks!

I ran a lot of experiments on this dataset.

The really frustrating thing for me is that I could not find a way to kill an upload progress that I knew was going to eventually fail.

Surely there is a way.

If there is - it should be more discoverable.
