Does anyone know how to bring a path generated in Photoshop into Fushion360?

In a related question, Does anyone know to change a spline to lines and curves in Fushion360?

You can convert the image into SVG file (as the attached one) and then import the SVG into Fusion. I'm using Inkscape. You might be able to do it in Ps too as the following page indicates (I didn't try it though):

Regarding to your second question, there is no direct way to do it. A workaround is to use this add-in:https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=4611814297957846949&appLang=en&os=Win64

Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure if I am asking the correct question on the SVG file.  What I am trying to do is trace an image in Photoshop and export the trace line (called a path in Photoshop).  I want to import the path into Fusion360.  Maybe there is a different (not SVG) way to do this.  Do you know another way or is this the correct method?

Exporting an SVG from your paths in Photoshop is definitely the way to go for this. It's easy, fast, and it just works. Be careful though that your paths are not point heavy...in other words make sure your using as few of points as needed to create your shapes.

Every time I try to create an SVG in PS, when I import into 360 I get an error saying there is no information in the file.

I think you're saving in the wrong format, Fusion can only read SVGs with curve data this file looks like it's saved as an image.

I would suggest you to create the SVG in Adobe Illustrator, but not Photoshop. If you save SVG from PS, PS will simply embed the image into the SVG file and it's not vector format. Currently Fusion doesn't support embedded image in SVG.

I was having some issues until I watched this video on importing SVGs into a fusion360 file:

OK , after creating the work path, create a custom shape from it and will save in to your shape library.
then hide all others layers , create new layer and go to shape , choose the shape you just saved , place it on your new layer and then you will see that the shape now is filled with black.
Export this as svg and dont worry that the preview look like a dog breakfast. a
go to fusion, new sketch, insert, svg file and boom done. XD XD
