Upload failed

I am getting the "Upload Failed" message all the time - no data shows online and if I try to manually upload any files I just get the "Saving Files" progress bar and no uploads

What ports do I need to ensure are open on my firewall to get both teh manual upload and Fusion 360 uploads to work?

Diagnostics files attached

Cheers

The below article details the exceptions and required ports for the operation of Fusion 360.

If you are in a proxy environment (using a proxy server), you may also find the below link helpful.

Please take a look at these links and let us know if it helps to resolve the upload issue.

Thanks,

I'm not using a proxy and have set the firewall to allow any/any to the fusion exe

I am signed in and can create a test object but just continually get the "upload failed" message

I did a clean uninstall and reinstall but still the same

Is it the fusion exe that does the upload or do I also need to allow another exe through teh firewall

Thanks for the help

Paul

The problem you are having is linked to network security, with the issues arising when computers are unable to validate the authenticity of Autodesk's server certificates. This check was added to Fusion 360 in the most recent release as a way to block many 'man-in-the middle' attacks.

Most of the time it is caused by a missing Windows Update.  The specific update is KB931125 and can be found through the Microsoft site at http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=root%20certificate%20update (Note - this page may require Internet Explorer)

Please try running the Windows Update, rebooting and let me know if your problem persists.  If it does persist, let me know what anti-virus software you are running, if any.  You can send me (kris.berg@autodesk.com)  a private email with that information.

Thank you,

Hi @Anonymous,

There is an issue with our new "man in the middle" checks and BitDefender.  We have a couple of workarounds, but prefer to not widely broadcast them.  I will send you a private message.

Thank you,

Hi @kiko_lobo

Sorry you are having these issues.  In order to properly diagnose these issues I need to analyze your logs.  To retrieve your logs go to the Help (?) menu and select the "Diagnostic Log Files" command.  Please send the logs to kris.berg@autodesk.com.  I will look at them as soon as I receive them.

Thank you.
