I'm working on a project that requires a waterjet peace inserted into it, I downloaded a silhouette of something off the internet and I need to put it into my solid model in fusion 360, then make it a solid so I can line it up, cut and trim it to fit where it need to go. How do I do that?

 Thanks, Bob

Can you attach the file here?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I haven't tried this - but experiment with >>Project Salvador<<

Also search for YouTube videos on Project Salvador.

Bob, do you have a way to create a vector file from your raster file jpg? For example, Adobe Illustrator can create tracings of images, and you can save them as a vector file - and export them as a .dxf file. The .dxf will be much more friendly to import and create a sketch or extrusion from.

There are a number of online free conversion sites also - where you can upload your jpg and get a vector file export. I've not used them and cannot speak to their efficacy.

You are dealing with a fairly complex image of the flowers and grass - your results may vary.
