Cekuhnen,

I have looked through your idea submissions and see that you have requested the ability to remember previous settings twice.  The first idea has two votes and the second has seven.  Please know that we value the posts to the idea station.  For various reasons all of the ideas posted do no end up in Fusion, however we use the amount of votes to influence our priority.  As you have seen on your other requests the status changes when an idea is accepted, implemented...  We will continue to evaluate the posted ideas.

Cheers,

He Mike, I understand that Autodesk has not endless resources but I cannot imagine that a feature so common in every other application such as remembering previous tool settings is tough rocket since equation to solve 😉

The point is that currently the UI seriously is needlessly labor intensive because the tools start with some defaults I for example hardly ever use. So I always have to click them off.

For example loft default only makes sense when you loft closed sketches like a for a bottle. Otherwise for each loft command you have to turn off chain selection.

If you do many lofts for a design thats quite an unpleasant experience. Solar Fusions UI is pretty straight forward logical and compact. Easy to learn and digest. Just the tool history the the opposite.

I just looked on the Idea station, and there are 1174 ideas in different stages of acceptance.

A good Idea, like tool reuse previous settings can get buried too easily, especially when the ideas are listed by most recent, most popular and most voted.

If you go to the most voted column, and make a vote for the first item on the list, it is just going to snowball because it's the item people see first.

I cannot find a way to search the idea station ( am I overlooking it on the attached photo? ),  I can't imagine looking through over 1000 ideas to see if someone had the same idea as me, so that I can vote on it.

Thats very true but certain features should not require a vote but be common expectation. Tool setting memory is crucial for workflow speeds!

the search function is there but not at a logical place on the website. I would suggest to move it up. Even myself overlooked it few times.
