Hi James,
Same here, no error message, thanks for solving this so quickly.
Best regards,
Ludo
I'm on version 2.0.2377 (student license). Fusion doesn't want to download the updates correctly, so i can't open files i have made on an external computer. I've included a .zip with the diagnostics log files, my autodesk.webdeploy.streamer log file and a printscreen of the error! I also had the same error as Ludo.
Hi,
The likely cause is you've saved the file(s) using a newer version of Fusion and are trying to use an older version to read it.
The single-user version of Fusion is always updated automatically. Has an update occurred but you haven't installed it (restarted Fusion)?
Conversely, our EDU/Global installs do not update automatically. To update your existing version, can you confirm where you installed it from? Was it using the Fusion 360 Admin Install? If so, to uninstall it and update:
open a command window
go to the folder where you downloaded the Fusion 360 Admin Install.exe file
type at the prompt: "Fusion 360 Admin Install.exe" --globalinstall --process uninstall (Note: Include the quotes, there are 2 dashes preceding the arguments.)
This will uninstall the installed version.
Then go to your EDU account page and download/run the latest Fusion 360 Admin Install.exe.
Otherwise, to workaround this login to your hub using a web browser (myhub.autodesk360.com), select the file, and download it. Then launch the "older' version of Fusion and re-upload.
Regards,
