Update broke Space Mouse

Since the update yesterday, my spacemouse, which was working flawlessly before, its all wonky now in Fusion. It's constantly locking up while trying to fly around. And it seems like it could be related to the UI of Fusion. If I hover the mouse over any UI element, the spacemouse stops functioning properly.

I remember reading some stuff on the blog about the UI being updated in this release, so maybe that is related. It's pretty much unusable at this point though.

Bummer 😞

For me, my Space Mouse actually works better after the update. I always had a problem with a navigational lag after opening a new file. After the update, new files respond instantly. Not sure what, if anything, that means.

I shut down my PC and restarted Fusion. Now it's actually backwards. Only works well when hovering over the UI. If my cursor is in the model space, it's super choppy and only zooms in and out. So I have no idea what is happening. When I get a moment, I'll try and reinstall my drivers to make sure. It's unfortunate as I've just become used to using it day in and day out. Now I keep reaching for it out of habit and can't use it. Oh well, worse things in life.

sometimes i just unplug and then plug back in my space mouse and things return to normal.  did you look at updating the driver?

Drivers fixed the issue. Crisis averted.

Oddly, before updating the drivers, I would bring up the spacemouse menu in fusion and it would say inventor at the top instead of fusion. If I closed menu and re-opened menu it would go back to saying fusion. And it would just repeat between the two. But the driver update solved the issue. So all is well

Take it all back. It's back to doing the exact same thing.

Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that. My fault. Just glad I am not the only one so I know I am not crazy.
