Update assemblies when inserted parts change

Inventor does this automatically.

No, sorry, Fusion does not automatically update Inserted designs today.  All components today are entirely embedded in a single design, so the Insert today copies the contents into the active document.

However...  we are currently working on that exact feature.  We are calling this "distributed designs".  For more information see:  distributed-design-in-fusion-360

So, hang on just a while, and we think you will be happy with the result.
