Unsaved file

Hi,

i was working since yesterday on a file that I forgot to save (unnamed) and accidentally shut down the computer today.

I received the crash recovery message after a restart but were old files (20 in total).

If i send log file (s) can you please find the current file, or with any other way?

Regards! of course you can, but first try to open fusion and go to notification icon at top-right page and when you click it if is the first time you open fusion will appear a notification of auto saved files, once you click you will see all files and the time and date, just choose the last one your being working on.

go here to autodesk help https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

The notification icon unfortunately did not appear after the restart.
I send you the log file to see if it is saved.
(the email is a.kogos@gmail.com)

Thank you very much!

sorry, I don't know of any magic to recover unsaved files, outside of the recovery dialog.  Fusion will save a backup file as often as you have the Automatic Recovery time set to:

I don't know if @Anonymous can provide any more details from your log files.

I have met the same condition and here is my way, hope it can also help you:

  1. Locate .asd file in this path: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word
  2. Finding .asd file and then copy to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles
  3. Launch Microsoft Word and choose File > Info > Manage Version > Recover Unsaved Documents
  4. Double-click the .asd file to open it.

You can also apply a third-party tool, I think the Bitwar Data Recovery is good, you can also have a try.
