UNITS - FEET AND INCHES

I am a SketchUp user and have been for over 10 years. I have reached the peak of what I consider to be SketchUp's limitations and was very excited when I came across Fusion 360. However I seem to have fallen at the first hurdle!!
Can someone tell me how to change the units to fractional feet and inches? In SketchUp i can input 3',6 1/2" and I get a line at said length. I can see no way in fusion of using this type of unit input. can anyone help me?

Does this setting in preferences help?

Have you looked into the preferences yet?  I haven't used it since I work strictly in decimal, but there are other options available.

Thanks, big help!!

one other thing I was hoping to ask is does anyone use fusion for large architectural modelling. I design sets for films and television and most of my work until this point has been in Sketchup and Layout. I am looking at fusion as a natural progression from sketchup but I don't really see anyone using it for large projects. do you think i would be able to model things like the attachment in fusion

I suggest you make another thread to ask about modeling your type of project. Physical size of project doesn't really matter, number of components and bodies will have an effect. More than a 1,000 or so components has been a problem for some. Using linked designs is not recommended at the moment as there's no inplace editing but if you have subassemblies that don't need editing in a main assembly it might make working on big projects easier.

I do the same thing, I have been modeling in sketchup primarily and now fusion for about a year. How do you like it? have you figured out a way to display feet and inches in drawings?

Thanks for help with solution, however, is there a preference to set so that only inches are displayed and not feet?

In the Fusion Preferences, under Units, a setting of Decimal or Fractional will give only inches.  You will only get Feet and Inches if you select Architectural.
