I've imporedt a model and having trouble unfolding it.

Fusion doesn't support unfolding imported models yet. You have to build it in the sheet metal environment in Fusion 360.

You cannot work that out on your own with Fusion 360. What @JDMather is offering is that he'll use another software to do that for you. E.g. Autodesk Inventor.

Well, I guess you could work it out on your own - the old fashion way with Machinery's Handbook formula for Bend Allowance calculation and development (like we did in AutoCAD in the last century.

My offer was simply to quickly generate (5 or 10 seconds) a flat pattern that could then be compared to traditional techniques that we used on the drawing board or in AutoCAD.

My first investigation would be to see if it is in fact a developable geometry (cylindrical or conic bends) as so many examples I see are of deep press-formed features rather than brake-formed bends.
