I have been unable to successfully start Fusion 360 for quite some time and it seems none of the updates ever resolve the issue. Any ideas what the issue could be?
Computer Info:
OS X El Capitan 10.11
MBP 15in (Late 2013)
2.3Ghz I7 16gb Memory, Iris Pro Graphics

If I launch Fusion 360 with the wifi off I will get past the splash screen but then the main window is just blank. If I try to connect to wifi, it will usually hang again or just stay blank.
It gives me the same issue on both my home network and the public wifi network.

Have you by third party apps installed like little snitch
it's not a fusion problem you have some software reporting false info
have you tried a new account for the Mac IE create a new user for the Mac and log into that redownload the fusion client and see how it goes, make sure the new acct has admin rights
Stuart
Could you post a couple of screenshots of the issue? It sounds like it may be a network connectivity issue. Are you connected to the same network everytime?
If you have any anti-virus software running on the Mac, can you try disabling to see if it helps? The same goes for a firewall. You can temporarily disable and then re-test.
Would you mind manually collecting the log files from the computer and posting them here? They may contain some further information to help us diagnose the issue.
To collect Installation Log File (for install or update errors):
Windows OS
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Local\Autodesk\autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log
Mac OS
Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Logs/autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log
Application Log Files (for issues launching or operating Fusion 360):
Windows OS
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<ID>\logs ... (look for all *.log files)
Mac OS
Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<Custom ID>/logs ... (look for all *.log files)
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
I have tried two different networks and have the same issue on both.
I have tried it without virus scan, and added fusion 360 to allow all connections in the firewall. I also tried with the firewall completely disabled.
I also tried running it on a newly created admin account.

Still not having any luck with anything.
Thanks for all help!
I think I may have gotten it figured out. I unchecked the Auto Proxy Discovery box checked in the attached pic and then it worked.
I'm glad its working. Thanks for following up to let us know what solved the issue for you!
