Unable to select a picture to insert into my design

I want to do the most basic of things - and I've done it before. I'm starting a new design and I need to use a picture as a template. I clicked Insert/Canvas and the "Insert from my computer" button seems to be disabled. The border of the button greys out when I hover over it and clicking on it doesn't cause any action. I just did this a couple of months ago. Am I doing something wrong?

All selections in the Dialogue Box are required (Select the Plane to put it on)

Might help.....

That's another part of what is goofy... I never got a dialogue box. I'm restarting the computer, then Fusion to see if it makes a difference. But the computer is installing a windoze update, so it's going to take a minute.

The computer just needed a reboot and/or Fusion 360 needed to be restarted. Any word as to when Autodesk is going to make a version of Fusion 360 that runs on Linux so we don't have to deal with Windoze?

I lay in bed at night and dream of the vacuum sound from all of the other OSs when someone develops a valid CAD program for Linux.
