Unable to reset view -> uncentered Origin

Hello,

I'm new to the Fusion 360 User Interface so here's my beginner question:

After I use pan to move my viewpoint around I'm unable to reset the view. I need to have the origin point exactly in the center while capturing an image. Simply using pan again is not exact enough since the captured picture is used for calculations in another program later on.

I tried using the viewCube and the reset view options in view options-> multiple views,
but the origin point remains off center.
left: goal->centered viewpoint.       right: at the moment

goal: centered origin in imagegoal: centered origin in imageat the moment: origin point of centerat the moment: origin point of center

Thanks advance for your help!

Greetings,
Saskia

Try this, enable the origin, select Look At from the bottom toolbar then select one of the origin planes.

Also if this is something you need to keep recalling you might want to set up a Named View. So follow instructions above then right click Named Views in the browser and create a new view.
