Unable to Push/Pull

Hello all!error.jpg

I've designed a box and found out later that the walls are too thick(4mm) and need to thin them down to 2mm thick but when I try to push/pull using a negative number it gives me the offset screen and then an error. I know it's something I did that is causing this because I have done this several times on other designs. I've even tried making a new sketch on the face and trying the push/pull on that but it still doesn't work. I'm a beginner on this so I'm not too familiar with how to do things or undo them. Here's a screenshot of what I get when trying to do this. I hope it explains things.

Hi,

please share your design to take a Look at.

I see that 2 sketches are involved.

I recommend watching more tutorial videos, you have about 50 extra steps in your model that you don't need. Since you are where you are and you want to make the walls thinner you can use the press pull and select "new offset" instead of automatic, or you can use the "offset face" command instead of press pull which will give you the same result. The press pull is going back in the timeline to change the thickness of the wall and with your modeling practices, you get fails.

Thanks, I'll give that a try and you are absolutely correct, I need to watch more tutorials.

Edit: That worked like a charm!
