Unable to move component

Hey everyone,

I'm having some trouble moving a component I've created. It has two sub-components which I have created within it, and use sketches referenced to the main component, but whenever I try to move the main component relative to the rest of the design, it just won't move.

The component is "Gantry Belt Pivot"

I can move each body fine, so I don't think anything is stuck, and I tried to break every link in all my sketches but that still doesn't allow the component to move.

Looking around I don't see where I've done anything in other objects that might keep things from moving, but I'm not sure what a good way to check that is either.

I'm uploading a screencast and the file, this is driving me crazy. If anyone understands this better than I do and can give some pointers, I'd appreciate it.

Edit: I guess I can't post .f3z files, it seems "The attachment's gantry redesign.f3z content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

just a shot in the dark since I can't see the file, but...

when you select the component you can see there is a joint associated with it because of the dashed underline under the joints folder.  open that folder and see if there is a joint with a dashed underlined.  probably a rigid joint with the visibility turned off.

You were right. It was a joint that was somehow at the opposite end of the extrusion overlapping another joint, so I had to toggle off all the other joints and solo that one on to be able to see and delete it.

Thanks for the help!
