Unable to merge face or select faces to stitch

Hi all,

I have an imported stl file that I converted to BRep.  I wish to merge the faces so a can perform an extrude function.  When I select 2 adjacent faces to merge i get a "Failed to merge or stitch" error.  When I try to stitch two faces I can't even select anything.  I'm relatively new so probably doing something stupid. Have tried turning time line and and off but no luck.

Thanks

The merge command should do it with the chain selection on

If it's not working please hare the .f3d file to your next post

Hi Saeed,

Chain command selected all the faces but still failed to merge.  Have attached f3d file.

Thanks

There is something so missed up in your model that makes Fusion crash every time I try to merge faces ... and I just don't get what it is to be honest

But still, this model can sooo easily be done in Fusion's Model Workspace, so why import it as a mesh?!

Simply because the dimensions for the drone motors etc were already done.  Did not realise there would be issues converting to f3d to do some modifications.  Seems like the file has become corrupted somehow during conversion so will have to create from scratch.  Thanks for helping out.

It won't be hard to start it over again in Fusion, not to mention that you'll have sketches and parameters to modify as you like

True.  Will do so and the extra experience is always useful.  Cheers
