Unable to load or edit uploaded f3d file

Hi,

I got an error "Unable to create A360 item for this file, please try again later"; to save my unsaved work, I exported the work as a f3d file. Now I'm trying to re-import the work again.

However, upon uploading the f3d file, the Dashboard shows the file but with a f3d logo instead of the usual cube logo, and the data panel in Fustion360 itself the same. If I click on the file in the data panel, the software opens autodesk360 on the file.

How do I get Fusion to recognize this file, or this work, as native, and let me continue on it?

Yours,

Mark

I solved my own problem: by right-clicking on the file in the data panel, one can choose Create Fusion Design, and that created a second file which Fusion can read. The timeline was also preserved.

You can also use New Design From File to import f3d file without uploading them to Dashboard.
