Unable to freely move sketches/origin around after April updates

I just received the April update for Fusion 360 and find I can n o longer freely move my sketches anywhere on the drawing screen. The sketches simply enlarge or shrink as I attempt to move them around. Is there a new command I missed? I thought I read the "What is new" comments after Fusion updated.

Hi,

There are various projections that provide fixation of the sketches.
Which sketches are we talking about?

All my sketches...I usually am able to move drawings around, enlarge, shrink, slide left right up down but I seem to only be able to enlarge and shrink the sketches

Hi,

Check which links can be removed and then remove them with Right Click > Break Link.

I am pretty certain nothing has changed that would make this area of Fusion behave any differently.  The ability to drag or move sketch geometry is tied to whether there is any fixed or projected geometry selected, or there are constraints to any fixed or projected geometry.

I understand the logic in what you are saying and other than fixing the spinner point to the origin to ground the drawing, I have not included any other constraints except Coincident. I am attaching a file showing my inability to "join" two line segments that are currently coincident.

OK I just tried a totally new sketch  in a new drawing...same problem. I cannot move my drawing freely around the screen, expand or shrink or move up or down, side to side...whatever this is, It happened after the last upgrade (which just happened last night)

Hi,

1. You can only connect lines that are in the same sketch

2. which sketches and which lines you are talking about?

3. In a reply, refer to a specific post and do not use the Quick Reply option to reply to yourself.

or hold mouse wheel (but this is dependent on your Preferences settings).

Are you referring to the Canvas or to the Sketch?

@sharscott2 - the design you attached has 4 sketches.  Each sketch has one or more fixed points in it, which is why you cannot Move or Drag the entire sketch.  The underconstrained geometry in those sketches can be moved.  Again, I do not believe that anything has changed in this are in probably years

It would be helpful to record a screen video of what you are trying to do to help us help you.
