Unable to edit face of an object created in model mode

Hello,

In some tutorials it was shown that you could edit the face of an object created in model mode (rotate the angle of a face or tweak it), yet the move command only allows me to move or rotate an entire entity, not a specific face.

In addition, in sculpt mode is it only possible to create a face with the face tool, or is it possible to create a face from a sketch?

Attached is an image of the sketch I created in sculpt mode but I cant seem to figure out how to create a face from this. Ultimately I would like to create a face this shape and then give it a domed shape.  Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam

It sounds like you have Capture Design History turned on, you can only select faces in direct edit mode. Right click the top component and select Do Not Capture Design History then when you run move you should have to option to select faces.

The sketch you are having trouble with, is it a closed profile, can you Export an f3d file so I can see what you're working with.
