UI Preview defect: scroll parameters side effect sketch zoom in-out

I'm in Sketch context. I click Modify then Change Parameters. I have the mouse pointer in the list of parameters. When I turn the mouse wheel to scroll the list up-down, the underlying sketch view zooms in-out unexpectedly.

If I click on a parameter, then the behavior becomes normal. e.g. he mouse wheel scrolls the list up-down without changing the underlying sketch view.

@HotMetalArtist - it seems to work OK for me.  It should be based on where the cursor is.  If the cursor is over the parameter dialog, the mouse wheel will scroll the parameters, if over the graphics area, it will scroll the graphics.  Can you post a screencast of what you see as incorrect behavior?

The behavior is intermittent. I don't know what tool to use to make a screencast.

I tried Win-G to invoke Windows game recording tool, but it only records the main Fusion 360 screen. The Parameters window is not included.

I downloaded the Autodesk screencast recorder. I had a nice video of the behaviou, but, the microphone was on and recorded Family Feud. When I tried again I could not catch the defect. I restarted Windows this morning. I've not seen the behavior again.

Thanks, @HotMetalArtist - I'm happy to listen to Family Feud in the screencast you have (it should still be there).  I did the same thing this morning with a video, and have the obnoxious construction sound outside the office in the background of my video...

Anyway, if you do catch this again, we'd be interested in seeing it, especially if there is some sequence that is reproducible.

[it didn't attach after selecting... just noticed the additional "insert" action button on the reply form]

[I'm getting there, slowly but surely.]

I apologize for posting the screencast a second time. There is a delay before the screencast insert show up in the reply after posting.

No problem. Thanks for capturing that.  If you have any clues about what conditions might cause it, that'd be helpful, but I can send this off to the UI guys and see if they have any idea...

Good news.  The UI team has seen something like this, and think they understand the cause, so hopefully it will be fixed before too long.  The Fusion bug is FUS-51580
