UI bug in joint edit dialogue prevents edits

The joint command has a bug: If you need to edit the joint, a "lost reference" error message embedded in the object select tab is so long, and joint edit dialogue box is so narrow (and we are unable to widen it) that the object deselect control, the little "x", is hidden and inaccessible. So you can't deselect the offending "missing object" and reattach a good one. See the attached image which makes this point clear.

Thank you for reporting the issue. I will log this issue with the development.

To work this around, could you try clicking on the error message in the dialogue box and then select a new location?

I already rebuilt the joint from scratch, so I can't try your suggestion. But I recall that I did try to click on the error message itself but nothing happened. Did you find that clicking the error message let you edit the joint after all?

Thank you for your response. I tested it with very simple components and I was able to edit the joint. Do you have the issue with simple components like the ones I have in the video? I'm curious if this is a design specific issue or maybe happens only on Mac.
