I have created simple polygonal container and added liquid inside using "boundary fill".
Model looks like this:
I have assigned glass material to container and colored water to inner body. But when I try to render it, result is just ugly:

All you have to do is do a push/pull operation on all the surfaces of the liquid, except for the top surface. Push in by a fraction to give a bit of space between the glass and body. The problem is caused by the two objects sharing surfaces of geometry.
