Turning Timeline into Macro

Is there possibly a way inside Fusion 360 to simply create a Macro (= a silly action repeater in the sense of
say a Photoshop action) from the timeline? The idea is that one "records" a sequence of actions with a
sample surface as input (extrude it's  boundary a couple of times and cap to form a solid) and being able
to repeat the same automated Limbo with other similarly shaped but not identical surfaces.

Is that a concept which already exists somewhere in the program or does one need to resort to scripting?

Thanks for all hints!

I guess the answer is no then? Would seem quite useful to me 🐵

No, that functionality does not exist.

However, Fusion 360 has a very extensive API that covers several languages. e.g. Python. If you are familiar with it you can programs such things yourself. But that is definitely more complicated than just a recorded macro.

Nope, doesn't exist and you'll probably have to resort to scripting

Trippy Lighting and O.Tan,
thank you both! I am pretty convinced that what I have in mind was solvable in that straightforward Photoshop way
(use file history – apply to other input – possible enter Features for tweaking after the fact). We'll look into scripting this then.
