Trying to make circular array to connect circles

Working on making something for my wife to 3d print. It has circles about an inch apart, I made the one connection point,  but she wants cross section every inch going around. I understand that i could do this manually but there must be an easier way. I tried circular pattern tool in sketches but am not able to select anything as an object. Ideas?

Draw a circle for the inner ring.  Offset that for each ring.  Thin Extrude all of the rings.

What do you mean by cross section.  Use a paint program to draw on the image to show what you want.

Hi,

Does your wife want these joiners to look pretty or be functional or both?

The easiest way is to simply make a line from the centre of some thickness and then use circular pattern on the feature

and separate each copy by say 30 degrees. That would look somewhat pretty but not be 1 inch apart and be functional.

If she wants it to look pretty then do the same thing except with a line between each ring and make a circular pattern

between each ring of the line with angular spacing that puts each line in the ring about an inch apart. That will give

the correct spacing but it will be different for each ring.

As you can see, they are all about an inch apart but it is MUCH more complex. Also they don't all line up. You "could"

make them line up with a little work.

Both methods use circular pattern just in different ways.

Cheers
