Trying to finish loft from vertical to horizontal with taper

I have been fighting this design for a while and cannot figure it out. I drew a rib of the finish profile I want. I thought this would be an easy loft function but I have been fighting it for hours without being able to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the parts fit together exactly it should go.

That's exactly what I was trying to do. How did you do it?

Nothing fits together. You must design carefully.

I add a sketch.

What I did is rubbish 🙂

Hi! Here is a solution without using Loft. Instead of Loft, I used Revolve and Non-Uniformed Scale. Though the resultant geometry isn't dimensionally accurate per sketches, the technique creates much smoother geometry and it is easier to control the outcome.

Many thanks!
