Trying to figure out using a Wacom

There are so many things that are intuitive when using a mouse - probably because I'm used to it. But trying to use a Wacom pen in the same way is like the entire existence is working against you.

Take the long click to be able to select hidden features. Yes, I managed to disable long click as right click. Because that one was obviously messing with this feature. But now, when long clicking with the pen nothing happens. Grabbing my mouse and long clicking and yes, I do have the select hidden features list. But not with the pen.

Any ideas as to how display the hidden feature list with a Wacom pen?

Hi,

Before you get knots in your limbs and brain trying out the Wacom tablet, try one of the 3-D devices from 3-D Connexion.

I actually did look at this not long ago. But I'm not fan of dongles so I didn't bother.

ok, then you can take the wired versions.

Not that easy.

First I'm using a laptop for mobility so there is no set-and-forget on anything that plugs into a USB.

Second, I'm using lots of peripherals so having a dongle/USB for each is simply not possible due to how many USB ports a computer have. So when I look for new input hardware it must have bluetooth or I rarely take a second look at it.

Third, I do VR so when that is connected it uses all my USB ports. Meaning there is no set-and-forget for even the smalles USB dongle.

Fourth, there is no excuse for manyfacturers not to use bluetooth as it can handle almost anything. The wacom uses bluetooth and no problem there.

Fifth, kindof the same thing when looking at new hardware and it uses a micro-USB plug and not USB-C. You immideately know the design have to be old and almost outdated before you buy it. So I also stay away from anything that uses micro-USB.

The only true set-and-forget connection is bluetooth. You do it once and you never have to think about it again, and no worries about any dongle having to be plugged and unplugged - or worse, lost and in some manufacturers case impossible to just buy a new dongle and connect it to the old hardware, so you have to buy new everything.

Answering my own original question:

Pen & Windows Ink settings -> Let me use my pen as a mouse in some desktop apps

Now long click works as it should in Fusion 360.
