Trouble with angled faces on a cylinear

I'm trying to make a starter coupler. There are 3 angled faces that need to match the mating piece. The issue I'm having is when I try to taper the faces, no matter what I do they arent flat with the top plane. They taper down like I want but also taper outward. Looking at it from the front you can see that the cut isnt flat relative to the top. Its angled outward which is no good. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Can’t open the file at the moment.  A few ways to do it.

Loft a short rectangle, to a Tall rectangle, with circumference as the centre line Rail.

Circular pattern.

Might help....

I may have made the teeth too deep.  Here is another model with a shallower depth tooth.  Model attached.

If my Forum post solved your question, please select the "Accept Solution" icon to do three things. First it allows others to find a solution to a similar question, two, it closes the Forum post and last, it acknowledges that you accept the solution given. If you need further help, please ask.

I have yet to decide if this will work. It still looks a bit off but that may be an optical illusion. I wont know until the part is machined.

@JPorathTGC

And another version - bit convoluted with the split faces (don't know why the loft leaves a face) and the split and combine bodies to make the pattern of the loft work.
