Trouble starting trial version of Fusion 360

Created an account, can sign on in the subscription center.

Whem I attempt to start Fusion 360 it asks for account info, I enter it, appears to accept it but the dialog box doesn't clear from the screen and Fusion 360 doesn't continue starting up.  Tried downloading the software twice, no luck.

Anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Dan,

Can you test creating a new account in the sign in dialog for Fusion 360?

Also, it may help to review this link on resolving network connectivity issues.

It may be a good idea to test temporarily disabling anti-virus software to see if the behavior changes.

I hope that helps. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Thanks,

None of the suggested solutions worked.

I have Autodesk 360 software I’d installed back when installing Inventor, noticed it needed updating.  After updating then all 3 of my user ID’s would work to open Fusion 360.  Used it to open an .stp file someone sent me.  Then opened it with Inventor, didn’t see much difference in the two software programs, in what I was trying to do. Inventor opened it with less fuss.

Thanks for following up and letting us know what worked for you. I'm glad that you were able to get your Autodesk ID's working with Fusion 360.

Fusion 360 relies on a cloud translation service to import files. There's a tip on Data Exchange in Fusion 360 that may shed some more light on the topic.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks,
