trouble selecting curves and contraction lines

Hi All

I was working on some designs when I found to was difficult to select lines , construction lines, when the where on top of each other, even the  control lines on splines where in the way.

i.e 

in the above picture there is 2 construction lines and normal line on top, once you have stacked lines how do you select the lines under .

In other system, I would sign each line a different colour , then use a filter to select the line I wanted or I could hide the lines I don't want

I can't figure out how to do either in fusion?

Select Other.

Hold left mouse button down while hovering over the line, short pause you recieve a list of everything under the cursor.

move into the list, and each window item highlights according to the list item you have the pointer over.
