I am trying to create a joint between a flat part and a round part. In the below image I used a rigid joint to put locate the bolts in the flat part and used a cylindrical joint to locate them in the shaft. The flat part needs to be touching the round part tangent to it.
I know that I could possibly use the move and align command to get it there but that does not seem like a good solution. I would like it somehow parametric so if the shaft diameter or part thickness change that everything moves as expected. I am coming from an SW background and am sure my past experience with mates is leading me down the wrong path.
