Trouble creating solar panel on Fushion 360.

Hello, I am a fellow high school user here, just got into fusion 360 because in my engineering class we were told to create a solar tracker project. I'm currently in progress and ready to 3d print materials and build the thing up, the only thing preventing me from finishing it is the solar panel part. I searched up everything about solar panels on youtube regarding fusion 360 but to no avail. I'm here to ask that if anyone can give me some assistance on how to create a solar panel on fusion 360.

The left photo is what my target is and the right photo is what I'm currently in progress.

Thank you very much for your precious time!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for your post, I have checked the attached images what you expected and what you need to achieve in mentioned Project.
Mostly you have completed all assembly of your Project, except some detailing of Solar Panel.
If your Design for Solar Panel is ready means based on Capacity If you have details about panel size then you can Model Aluminium Frame using Sheetmetal Or Model workspace, Tempered Glass/Encapsulant/Junction Box/Back Sheet in model Workspace. So let me know what exact help you needed while creating Solar Panel.

Thanks and Regards,

Thanks for the reply, Mr. Patil! The problem I'm mainly having now is to somehow make the solar panel as similar to my teacher's drawing as possible, of course with some modifications. But now I am not sure just how to add details on the solar panel, more specifically the design of the cell itself, we only have to paste the cell on top of the body itself along with frames on the exterior of the cell, but now it's confusing since I don't know where to start. if you could help me with this that would be very appreciated!

@Anonymous ,

Please start doing modelling below component of solar Panel as per your size(what shown in Project)

and then you can apply details of component such as Frame Material/Decal images so Solar Panel will get real visualization and Modelling below component is pretty easy, please check below image.

Check below Component of Solar Panels
