Trail Visibility Lines

I am creating an exploded view; however, I am moving some components on the X axis, then on the Y axis, but I just want to see the trail lines that are going on the Y axis, therefore I do not want to see trail lines going diagonal or in two directions (in this case across then up). Is what I am asking impossible?

Fusion currently does not have the ability to turn off portions of individual trail lines, such as only show the Y direction of a jogging trail line.

What you can do is try using a sketch in the drawing workspace to put in the trail lines you want. Create the explosion with some or no trail lines, edit the drawing and create a sketch, then draw the lines you wish to see. This is the best solution available at this time in Fusion.

The diagonal trail lines are the biggest issue when you are moving an object on the X axis, then up on the Y axis. I have also seen horizontal and vertical trail lines when performing the same action, but you cannot get rid of the horizontal or vertical part of that trail line. My workaround has been doing smaller details. Far from ideal when you can do this & more on SolidWorks.
