Touching Surfaces Weird Rendering

I started with two identical bodies in the same spot then shelled one of them outward 3mm. This means they share a surface, making the rendering come out weird. Any way to fix without changing geometry? Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to Fusion Community!

I was trying to follow the workflow by creating an overlapping surface and enter into rendering, but i was unable to reproduce the bug as you have mentioned.

Can you please share this document for better understanding.

@Anonymous

This has been discussed before, the team working on the render said they are looking at ways to deal with stuff like this but right now you have to offset the geometry at least a little so the two surfaces are not on top of each other to stop the glitch. This has been a problem for different renders for a long time. I too ran into this the other day and had to offset the surface by 0.001in to fix the render.
