To heavy SVG-file?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I try to import a 2MB SVG file, but it takes about 24 hours and then the computer is locked.

what am I doing wrong?

Am follow this video: Toy Rocket: Fusion 360

(The picture becomes poor when I simplify it in AI).

Computer spec:

Picture of the SVG file.

Barnen.jpg

It shall be 1x2m engraved sign.

Thanks

Truth is forget using SVG import in Fusion. The sketch engine cannot handle designs well.

In your case the file is too much for Fusion - I suspect the sketch solver being the bottle neck here.

I agree.

Not the right software to handle that. Sheetcam or Vectric products would probably do that with ease.
