Add markers with highlights/comments feature, that are grouped into a re-nameable folder.
Version/history doesn't cleanly display changes nor order them.
Moving the history marker back and adding features, the versions stack, aren't ordered, can't be deleted, hard to find.
It's easier to create a timeline bracket, that can also collapse into a small folder you can name. Similar to "Create Group".
Suppressing the folder updates the model history. Effectively creating a toggle on a milestone.
