When I make threads on a "bottle" they are not visible, I can kind of see them in the background... when I do the drawing the threads do not show... I am pretty new to CAD, but I have spent some time searching for a solution but no joy so far.

Right click on your thread feature and select edit, then look for modeled threads option and check that box. Then you will have actual modeled threads.

Hi Torry,

Using "Modeled" check box does show actual modeled thread on model and drawing, but it's unnecessarily complex and may impact performance. My recommendation would use cosmetic thread on model (don't select "Modeled" check box) and select "Thread Edge" check box in Drawing View dialog so that the thread can be displayed in the drawing following the standard.
