Threads in drawing

Hey!

Is there any way to change the threads so the nut's and the bolt's threads are exactly at one line?

I know this is the "real" way how threads looks in real life, but in a drawing it looks very distracting, and i want to keep it clean this way!

Thanks!

The best you are probably going to get, if you want line to line, is to use modeled threads on both components.  It still is not line to line but it looks pretty good.

Thanks for your reply! Sorry to hear that there is no option for that, i don't really like to use modelled threads in drawings, especially I have a lot of them in my assemblies, and it makes them very distracting to the eyes.

Thanks anyways!

I know this is an old post but i was looking for the same thing.

When you open a drawing view, select the "thread edge" check box
