Thicken surface and merge?

Dear Community, I designed a valve but the 3d printing company complains about not closed walls in the model. (see yellow model in the picture and red circle as their feedback) :

so i went back to the model and only found that the lines inside do intersect, which is the only thing i can see could cause their problem.

i created the model from thickening surfaces, which was problematic at times and i'm not sure why it fusion is not merging the bodies. Is there a better way to model this without those intersecting lines? my model is attached. thank you!

I saw you create an offset of the solidbody.

Could I ask why didn't you use a hollow tool and set the thickness that you want?

I did that to the solid body and all walls are merged.
