Text height of balloon in drawings

Hi,

I created a drawing of an assembly then inserted a BoM and ballooned up the items. I wanted to change the text height in the balloon and therefore the balloon diameter but I can't find an option to do this.

Is there an option?

Hi @Anonymous,

There are currently no options to change the size of the balloon/balloon text in Fusion 360. Feel free to add it to the Fusion 360 IdeaStation!

Thanks,

Hi @julia.paganucci @Anonymous @gerhardSH76G

Balloon size can now be changed via Text Height Groups. In the August release for Fusion 360, the ability to change Text Height Groups was added. In Document Settings > Text Height Groups, under the “Custom” option, adjusting the “Large” Text Height Group will change the size of your Balloons, have a look at this article, which runs through the new Groups and shows how to change your balloon sizes: https://clintbrown.co.uk/2021/09/04/edit-balloon-sizes-text-heights/

This is a step in the right direction but far from adequate. At the Medium group, the bom balloons are too big. If you change to the Small text group, they are better, but now all my other text is too small. Please allow independent bom balloon size changes. Thanks.

Yep, they are silly big. The text size options are also so limited I can't even fit my BOM on the drawing.

The actual circle size needs to be independently scalable as well.

Full formatting options like with any windows program is desperately needed here.
