Tapering an irregular hole on a hollow sphere?

Hi! I'm completely new with Fusion, and as a self-education excercise, I'm trying to make a golfball marker template.

So I've made a sphere, cut it in half, and hollowed it out. Then I embossed my graphic from the underside, with the cut option, so now I've gotten a hole in the shape of the marking. So far, so well.

Then I want to make the edges of the hole tapered, so its easy to color with a sharpie or similar, to fill the lower, "inner" edge with color, where the ball surface is. How to do this eludes me - I've tried chamfer and draft on edges and the plane through the sphere surfaces, to no avail...

Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Best regards

Stig

Progress but I think I'll need a fresh start in the AM. Some numbers will be easier I hope!

  1. Offset the sketch outlines.
  2. Split the outer face of the sphere with the larger outline.
  3. Emboss the inner face with the smaller outline (or another split face).
  4. Surface loft between the two.
  5. Patch, stitch, and boundary fill the loft.
  6. Combine/Cut from sphere.
