Help me work out how to create this Dalek Dome :)

Hi

I am trying to create a Dalek dome in fusion 360.

I am using blueprints, but they are really awkward to use.

Here are the blueprints:

Whoever designed these worked on the basis that the grooves are worked out but measuring along the curve of dome which is rather awkward.

I can work out the rest except this angled line with the red next to it.

My son suggested I use this equation to obtain the angles but getting the lines is still impossible to me:

Still I am not getting the right lines.

If anyone can work this out I would greatly appreciate it as I have been starting and stopping for months not working this out.

Here is how those lines look on an official dome.

Hi

I double checked with the blueprint source and they said the picture and the measurements are inconsistent and that I should follow the measurements.
So I unfortunately cannot use that method.

Which dimensions make sense to you?

Adding up the radius x2 dimension you get 710 in the top view, not 520.

if horse ain’t going to drink the water, not much I can say on it.

Here is my take on the dimensions, I hade to start over in a design. (F3D file attached)

One dimensions doesn't make sense to me, I think the 80mm in image should be 90mm.

Hi

Thank you for your attempt.

It looks great. I will try and confirm on that measurement but you have amazingly done the dome.

It looks perfect.

I will have a good look at the file to see how you did it.

Ian

Hi

I am checking out the fusion model.

The one point that is the hardest to work out is this point:

How did you locate that?

Geometry, Surface Revolve3 and Revolve4 + SplitFace1 gives the 2 possible positions with the dimensions in drawing.
The real world prop can have a different geometry if it's made by hand.
