Attached is the lensestaillight1.jpgtaillight2.JPG we are trying to create, not sure how to go about creating the reflective backside on this particular multi curve surface.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the part to refer to, I would model a body of the cavity and Combine > Cut it out of the lens you have now.

Fix the yellow and red icons, there is no reason to keep those.

If and or when they occur, use the Undo tool, it’s recommended you do the offending manoeuvre another way.

To repair that timeline, fix the first Split Body, problem, sometimes that will automatically fix others as a flow on bonus.

Might help….

Looking at the timeline of your design, the very first thing I would do is to fix the yellow and red icons in the design.

As is, your design is pretty broken and continuing to work on it without fixing these issues often leads to even more problems down the road.

@thomET8XT

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Are all of your sketches fully defined?

Are there any unresolved issues highlighted in red or yellow in your Timeline?

Does Ctrl b (CMD b on Mac) return any errors?

@thomET8XT I would recommend to send the "CAD guy" along with the model 😉
