Hello

I have this angry ridge in my model (created in form/t-spline), and I cannot figure out how to smooth it out.

Thanks for any advice

Hello

Thank you, that does the trick, whoever the new roundness is very soft. I was hoping to achieve something slightly more pointy. Sowhere inbetween creased and uncreased.

Maybe I am chasing a rabbit?

Thank you

you'll need to add geometry.  Using "insert edge", add an edge close to the center line.

Hi

that makes a lot of sense, starting to get it now

Unfortunately, it seem like with that mega intersection at the center, and other wild angles, I have painted myself into a corner.

Everything goes wild when I try to add edges. Start from scratch?

I attached the file just in case someone wants to take a look.

This is for a large metal 3d-print.

The issue I am having is the "ridge" from center down. And the valley between the ears, where polishing will be impossible. uncreasing it makes it too soft.

Thank you for any help

you can add edges just where you need to tighten things up. see video.

you can also try different topologies.  see attached model for 2 examples.
