Sweeping along a Path without the profile being on the path

I am attempting to create a model for some neon lights. I've got multiple paths I want to sweep a sketch over. But since the sketch isn't on the sweep path It will fail. I can redefine the sketch plane but since this isn't a Timeline action it will only work for one sweep. Is there any other solution besides duplicating the sketch a bunch?

1. create a "plane along path" for each path

2. copy 1. sketch and paste into several  sketches

Yeah this works, but creates many duplicate sketches. If I then change a Dimension in 1 it  won't update in the others. Would be nice if there was a way to select a point that should be used for the intersection or something.

If you define variables in the parameter list for the 1st sketch, these are carried along when copying and you can make changes for all of them in the parameter list at the same time.

 This is an oversimplified version of the original file. I want to extrude this sketch along the 2 splines

In the file that you Attached the Profile is not perpendicular to the path?

Yes, that's the whole point. It can't be because it has to be along multiple curves.

You have to do the work in Fusion 360.

You haven't started first step correctly.

Autodesk Inventor Professional has Sketch Blocks that you can use to automate this.  (See @TrippyLighting similar approach using Component below.) 🤔

Autodesk AutoCAD will Align your profile to the path, but there are limitations with that assuming all are on same axis.

No, it isn't, and you can!

You can put the profile sketch into a component and then assemble the component to the end of all your splines.
