Sweep Issue

I am trying to sweep a circle off of a spiral. But when I select my profile and path nothing happens. I have very little experience with this stuff so I am not sure why this isn't working.

Can you please File -> Export your project as *.f3d file and attach here. Otherwise it's not possible to say anything that's specific to your question.

Yes that's basically what I'm trying to do. Did you sweep it off the end of the spiral or did you do it a different way? I tried to sweep off the end of the spiral but had no luck.

Sweep is the wrong tool for this as there is intersecting geometry.  If you need a shape other than circular, rectangular, or triangular, then remove the intersection.  Once the sweep is done, use Press/Pull to remake the intersection.

A coil and a torus are easier to work with:

Sure, a torus. Or, you know, just as an alternative, sweep the end of the spiral on around a single sketched circle.
