I have a lofted surface that I'm trying to start an extrusion from.  Having selected the sketch it will only let me select one part of the loft (see light grey selection) but the sketch covers mutple segments. Is there a way of either getting rid of these segments in the loft or using some other method to do this.  I solidworks It lets me select multiple segments to extrude.

Thanks for any help.

This appears to be a duplicate post: problem-creating-and-extrusion-onto-a-loft-surface

Please see that other thread for a response and a request to share the model.  Keep all responses on that other thread.

If it is a surface loft, make sure it is stitched to the surrounding surfaces.

Then you can select that entire stitched-together surface body in the viewport or the browser to extrude to.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

If the design is proprietary, then simply make up a dummy file that exhibits the same behavior.
