Struggling with shape creation

Hello Everyone!
Recently I gave been trying to model simple (as I think previously) model of Falcon 9 landing leg. However I failed to come even close to what can be seen on attached pictures. My intention was to reproduce as close as possible shape of this leg, taking in account all different angled faces, etc. "Leg 1" photo is for general shape, and on "Leg 2" a pyramid-like form can be seen.

If anyone could give me a tip of how I can re-create this pyramid-like shape, I will very much appreciate!

Thank you in advance!

This should be pretty easy geometry.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Here is the closest I have come to desired shape. However I don't know how I can make this pyramid-like shape on my upper face. I was trying different techniques, but all of them was dead-end as well.

First thing I notice is that there are no dimensions on your first sketch?

Second thing I notice is that this is pretty tiny compared to the real world.

Have you gone through any of the Self-Paced Learning Tutorials?

You will want to master fully defining the very foundation of your design - Sketch1.

Actually this is 1:125 model. I didn't include any dimensions there because I want to make it at least roughly similar. When I will understand concept of how to make those planes I will go for more precise model with all dimensions. Also, I am using AutoCAD for taking measurements from photos.

Basic shape is a floor - triangle with fillet at the thin end.

Top is a rectangle at the appropriate angle, (not parallel to the floor)

Loft them.

(Can Check File Later)

Might help.....

Thank you for the tip. I was trying to make LOFT, but it was far from perfect. I looked for some YouTube tutorials but haven't found the one that will explain to me my mistakes.

In it's most basic form the attached file shows one way to model this. There are many ways to model that geometry.
